4th Annual Student Research Meet

Today, we are hosting the 4th Annual Student Research Meet at the college. This significant event showcases the remarkable research efforts of our students, addressing crucial topics in agriculture, forestry, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.

The day’s agenda includes:

– Welcome Remarks by President
– Keynote Address on “Research, Youth, and Sustainable Solutions for Wicked Problems” by Dr. Ngawang Norbu
– Technical Sessions covering diverse research topics, including:
– Effect of dried clover and orange peel supplements on egg production
– Geospatial assessment of agricultural land use change in Punakha-Wangdue valley
– Microplastics accumulation in brown trout
– Formulation and acceptability of nettle soup premix
– Customer satisfaction on Mobile Banking of Bhutan (mBoB) services

We also have an engaging Panel Discussion on how to make research output visible and useful for development, leveraging research quality amidst current transformations, and enhancing food and nutrition security in Bhutan.
