Research Centers

Background information
The College of Natural Resources has two Research Centres. The Centre for Rural Development Studies (CRDS) was established in 2010 and has been focussing on sustainable rural development.The thematic areas of research covered by CRDS are on agriculture, livestock, and social science among others.

The other centre is the Centre for Environment and Climate Research (CECR).The CECR was approved in 2017 and the office is yet to be established. However, research activities of the CECR are already being coordinated by Dr. Om Katel. CECR focuses on environmental and climate research including biodiversity.
