Admissions are now open for the July 2026 intake for the MSc in Sustainable Mountain Agriculture under the self-funding mode at the College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, Lobesa.
Criteria
- Applicants should have completed BSc in Agriculture, Animal Science, Forestry, Wildlife, Life Science, Environment Science Food Science and Technology and Sustainable Development awarded by a recognised University. However, applicants who have completed BSc degree in relevant disciplines having at least 50% of the components related to the above-mentioned fields may be admitted upon verification by the admission committee.
- Applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc programme.
- International applicants will have to produce English proficiency test documents such as IELTS, TOEFL etc.
- Confirmation of candidature will be based on the decision of the Confirmation Panel upon successful verification of all the documents

- Current CV including academic, employment (if any) and publication records (if any).
- A preliminary research proposal.
- Recommendation letters from at least one academic and/or professional referees.
Admission
- Application submission DEADLINE is on or before 25 February
- Document verification: 28 February 2026.
- Result declaration: 3 March 2026
- Enrolment of selected applicants: 21 July 2026.
