The College of Natural Resources is pleased to announce vacancies for the following administrative staff positions. Interested Bhutanese citizens between the ages of 18 and 45 may apply through RUB IMS at https://erecruitment.rub.edu.bt on or before 5 September 2026 at 4:00 PM.

General Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen.
  2. Be at least 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age.
  3. Meet the benchmark criteria.
  4. Meet the experience and other requirements specified in the position profile.

Applicants should submit the following documents:

  1. Copies of academic transcripts and certificates.
  2. Copy of the Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card.
  3. Copy of security clearance valid at least until the time of shortlisting.
  4. Copy of a medical certificate valid at least until the time of shortlisting.
  5. Audit clearance, if employed.
  6. No Objection Certificate, if employed.

Eligibility for Laboratory Manager

  1. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 60% in the Bachelor’s degree.
  2. (Note: This criterion will not apply to candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.)

Shortlisting Criteria

Aggregate marks will be calculated based on academic performance:

  • 15% of Class X, 25% of Class XII, and 60% of the Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 bonus points will be awarded to candidates with a relevant Master’s degree, and 10 bonus points will be awarded to candidates with a PhD.
  • Experience: 5 bonus points will be awarded to candidates with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 bonus points: more than ___ years of relevant experience.

Eligibility for Personal Assistant and Laboratory Technician Positions

  1. For positions requiring Class XII (including Class XII with a certificate), candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects).
  2. Shortlisting Criteria

Aggregate marks will be calculated based on academic performance:

  • 40% of Class X and 60% of Class XII.
  • Experience: 5 bonus points will be awarded to candidates with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 bonus points: more than ___ years of relevant experience.

Written Examination for Laboratory Manager

  • A minimum of 20 applicants will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria set above for the written examination, which will be held on 10 September 2026 at 10:00 AM.

Shortlist for Viva Voce Interview

The College will shortlist a maximum of five candidates for the viva voce interview solely based on the eligibility criteria. The date for the selection interview will be announced later.

Note:

  • The two references in the online application should both be professional referees from two different organizations, if the applicant is employed. If the applicant has only one or no previous employment record, one or both referees may be from the college/university where the highest qualification was obtained.
  • Selected candidates must produce a negative drug test certificate.
