Admission Open for PhD in Climate Studies 2025

The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, Lobesa, Punakha, is pleased to announce
admission for PhD in Climate Studies for July 2025 intake under Cryosphere project.
Eligibility criteria
1. Applicants are eligible only if s/he has Honours’ or Master’s degree.
2. If employed, candidates should provide a letter of consent from their parent organization.
3. Must be 35 years old or below at the time of admission.
4. Must have social study background.
Documents required
1. Application form to be filled in and sent via e-mail with other documents. Download the application form

2. Current CV including academic, employment (if any) and publication records.
3. Letter from the current employer (if employed).
4. Motivation letter on pursuing PhD in Climate Studies (300 to 500 words).
5. Research proposal related to cryosphere impact on communities (700 to 1,000 words).
6. Recommendation letters from at least one academic and/or professional referees.
Admission
1. Application submission DEADLINE on or before 14 June 2025.
2. Admission selection interview: 26 June 2025.
3. Result declaration: 27 June 2025.
4. Enrolment: 19 July 2025.
