Shortlisting Criteria:

  1. Eligibility criteria: Minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 55% inΒ Bachelor degree (honors)/60% inΒ Bachelors degree (general), unless with minimum of five years of relevant work experience. (Note:Β Relevant work experience is considered for shortlisting purpose only)
  2. Candidates are shortlisted based on merit rank of aggregate marks. β€˜Aggregate %’ has been calculated considering performance in academic qualifications: 15% of Class X (English + best 4 subjects), 25% of Class XII (English + best 3 subjects) and 60% of Bachelors degree.
  3. Candidates are shortlisted based on qualification as per the announcement.
  4. Candidates without complete/invalid documents as per the announcement have not been considered for shortlisting.

Important notes on interview:

  1. All candidates must attend the interview in formal dress (National dress).
  2. Candidates are required to bring all documents (in originals) of academic transcripts and certificates, certificates of experience (if any), merit certificates, medical fitness certificate and CID copy during the selection interview.
  3. The performance of the candidates during the interview shall be the basis for final selection and the decision of the interview panel shall be final and binding.

Interview Assessment Criteria:

  • Personality (Attitude, Demeanor and Confidence) – 10 marks
  • Language (Fluency, Clarity, Grammar and Vocabulary): Dzongkha – 10 marks, English – 10 marks. Candidates are required to respond according to the language used by the panel members (ie. Reply in English if the question asked is in English and Dzongkha if the question is asked in Dzongkha).
  • Intelligence, Ability and Competence (65 marks):
    • Professional Subject (Knowledge, Skill, Interest and Experience) – 35 marks
    • General Awareness (Awareness of the situation including challenges and opportunities) – 05 marks
    • Presentation Skills (Organization of thoughts) – 05 marks
    • Analytical Skills – 10 marks
    • Promptness in comprehension and clarity if expression (Ability to respond and resolve issues as presented in the case) – 10 marks
  • Others (05 marks)
    • Extracurricular activities – 02 marks
    • Individual achievement records (if any) – 03 marks
