Reopening of College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan

The college of Natural Resources (CNR) will open as per the directive received by the Office of the Vice Chancellor from the Royal Government of Bhutan and subsequently imparted to the colleges. The CNR shall open in two phases to enable compliance with government directives of requiring to meet all the health safety protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

Phase –I 

In phase-I, CNR will call on campus all the 1st and 2nd year students for the face-to-face teaching on campus. In this regard the 2nd year students will report to the campus on 19th and 20th September 2020, and start classes from 21st September onwards.

The 1st year students (new) will report on 21st and 22nd September, attend orientation program on 23rd and 24th September and classes will start from 25th September onwards. Students are expected to bring necessary items as informed earlier through the announcement in college web page.

The 3rd and 4th year students will continue attending online classes as per the schedule that will be intimated soon on college web page. 

NOTE: Students of 1st and 2nd year traveling from Samdrup Jongkhar, Gelephu, Samtse and Phuntsholing must report to the quarantine station at the respective places with immediate effect for a week long quarantine, get tested for COVID-19, and if found negative shall be allowed to travel by the Regional COVID-19 Task Force.
