2021 Admission is open for Master’s in Development Practice and MSc in Natural Resources Management

The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan would like to open the call for admission to Master’s in Development Practice programme for the 2021 session.

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Have completed a Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognised University.
  2. Have secured a minimum of 50% in aggregate for honors graduates and 55% for general graduates.
  3. Applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements will undergo a two tier selection process that includes a written English proficiency test and an interview aimed at assessing the applicants’ ability to meet the demands of the programme.
  4. The minimum marks to pass the proficiency test is 50%. Applicants passing the proficiency test will sit for an interview and must obtain a minimum average score of 60% to be accepted for admission.

Documents required

Along with filled in application form, applicants should submit the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree transcript and certificate from a recognised university
  2. A copy of Citizenship Identity Card
  3. Security clearance certificate
  4. No Objection certificate from employer (if employed)
  5. Audit clearance certificate (if employed)
  6. Two copies of recent passport size photograph
  7. Passport (International students)
  8. Scholarship award letter if sponsored by any agency

The above documents should be produced in original at the time of admission exam. The venue for the admission exam will be in the College campus.

Submission of documents

Eligible candidates may submit the documents latest by 30thMarch 2021. The shortlisted applicants will be notified on 1st April 2021 through email. Written exam and the viva voce will be conducted on 9th and 10th April 2021, respectively.

The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan would like to open the call for admission to the MSc in Natural Resources Management by research programme for the 2021 session.

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Have completed a BSc programme awarded by a recognised University in agriculture, animal science, forestry, environment and life science.
  2. Have secured a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

Selection criteria

  1. Candidates must submit an outline of proposed research (proposal) maximum of two A4 pages.
  2. Candidates must secure minimum of 50% in the written exam to sit for the viva voce.
  3. In viva voce, a candidate must secure an average score of 60% for the admission.

Documents required

Along with filled in application form, applicants should submit the following:

  1. A copy of Bachelor’s degree transcript and certificate from a recognised university
  2. A copy of valid CID
  3. Security clearance certificate
  4. No Objection Certificate from employer (if employed)
  5. Audit clearance certificate (if employed)
  6. Two copies of recent passport size photograph
  7. Photocopy of passport (international student)
  8. Scholarship award letter if sponsored by any agency

The above documents should be produced in original at the time of admission exam. The venue for the admission exam will be in the College campus.
