The project titled, “Critical Analysis of Ecosystem- based Adaptation (EbA) for Urban Settlement in Reducing Vulnerability to Climate Change Impacts” supported by the United Nation Environment Programme (UNEP) under the Small Scale Funding Agreement (SSFA) is managed by Research and Development Division Dept. of Academic and Research (R&D, DeAR). Through this project, six students (3 each from CST and CNR) were awarded Masters scholarships. The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan and the Asian Development Bank Institute, Japan are jointly organizing an International Conference on Agriculture-Livestock Forestry Nexus: Contributions, Potentials for Improving Farmers’ Livelihoods, Soil Health and Adapting to Mitigating Climate Change. The Conference will feature 14 papers on a wide range of topics under the board theme of agriculture-livestock-forest nexus and climate change.
