{"id":7688,"date":"2025-05-23T03:28:21","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T03:28:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnr.edu.bt\/?p=7688"},"modified":"2025-05-23T03:32:43","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T03:32:43","slug":"ongoing-training-on-plant-biotechnology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnr.edu.bt\/?p=7688","title":{"rendered":"Ongoing training on Plant biotechnology"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Department of Food Science and Technology, under the Centre for Sustainable Mountain Agriculture at the College of Natural Resources (CNR), is currently conducting a specialized hands-on training on Plant Tissue Culture, Viral Indexing, and Genetic Fidelity Testing from May 19 to May 31, 2025.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">This training is organized in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) and is generously funded through the GOI-PTA program via the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Participants include officials from key national institutions such as the National Seed Centre, Regional seed centre, Agriculture Research and Development Centres (ARDCs), National Biodiversity Centre (NBC), National Centre<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">for Organic Agriculture (NCOA), and the MoAL. The training aims to strengthen national capacity in advanced plant biotechnology and seed quality assurance.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The first four days are dedicated to theoretical sessions and practical demonstrations on plant tissue culture techniques.
