The UNESCO\u00a0Madanjeet\u00a0Center for South Asia Forestry Studies (UMCSAFS) at\u00a0College of Natural Resources\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>(CNR), Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) in Lobesa, Punakha, Bhutan, is pleased to\u00a0announce\u00a0one candidate each for Madanjeet\u00a0Singh scholarship from SAARC member countries for\u00a0two\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>years\u00a0Masters Programme<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Natural Resources Management<\/b><\/strong>, & <\/b><\/strong>Masters Programme<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0in<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Conservation Biology <\/b><\/strong>and four years\u00a0B.Sc.\u00a0in Forestry<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0programme<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>to be undertaken from July 2023 to June 2025 and July 2023 to June 2027 respectively.<\/p>\n

Applicants should <\/b><\/strong>fulfil<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0the following criteria for master programme: <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Have completed a BSc programme awarded by a recognized University in the field of Forestry, Environment, Ecology and Life Sciences.<\/li>\n
  2. Have secured a minimum of\u00a055% in each subject<\/b><\/strong>and overall aggregate of\u00a060%<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Be a registered citizen of the SAARC member countries<\/li>\n
  4. Be fluent in English (both written and speaking)<\/li>\n
  5. Produce English Language Proficiency Certificate from recognized\/competent institutions<\/li>\n
  6. Be below 45 years of age.<\/li>\n
  7. Candidates applying should submit the application form and Research Proposal (mandatory) along with the required documents.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applicants should <\/b><\/strong>fulfil<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0the following criteria for B.Sc programme: <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Have completed a class XII OR had Diploma in Forestry awarded by a recognized school\/college in the field of Forestry, Environment and General Sciences.<\/li>\n
    2. Have secured a minimum of\u00a055% in each subject<\/b><\/strong>and overall aggregate of\u00a060%<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Be a registered citizen of the SAARC member countries<\/li>\n
    4. Be fluent in English (both written and speaking)<\/li>\n
    5. Produce English Language Proficiency Certificate from recognized\/competent institutions<\/li>\n
    6. Be below 30 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
