The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, Lobesa, Punakha, is pleased to announce that the admission is open for Master of Science in Conservation Biology, commencing February 2022. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Criteria:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Applicants should have completed BSc. in Forestry, Wildlife, Life Sciences, and Environment Science awarded by a recognised University. However, candidates who have completed BSc. in Agriculture, Animal Science and relevant disciplines having at least 50% relevant components of forestry, wildlife, environment or life sciences (zoology, botany etc.) can be admitted upon verification by the admission committee. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in the B.Sc. programme. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    The candidates will be have to clear a written exam securing at least 50% mark and will be selected by a selection interview panel. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The written exam will also include research aptitude of the applicants.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    International applicants will have to produce English proficiency test documents such as IELTS, TOEFL etc. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Confirmation of candidature will be based on the decision of the Confirmation Panel upon successful completion of mandatory modules, bridging courses and defense of Research Proposal. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Interested candidates will have to submit a preliminary research proposal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    There are 10 slots for the programme.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Current CV including academic, employment (if any) and publication records (if any).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. A preliminary research proposal.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Recommendation letters from at least two academic and\/or professional referees.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2. Entrance examination: 17<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> -18<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> January, 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      3. <\/a> Result declaration: 21<\/span><\/span><\/span>st<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> January, 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
