First group of agro-entrepreneurship trainees complete their training

January 3, 2018: A group of four men and a lone lady completed their three months training in agro-entrepreneurship. The group was trained in both in Mushroom Production and Poultry Production, besides Business Management. 
The individuals now will setup business in different across the country. For instance, Mr. Namgay Wangdi will start egg noodle manufacturing unit in Punakha while others will start mushroom farming in Thimphu, Mongar, and Haa respectively.
The College also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rural Enterprise Development Co. Ltd (REDCL) that would be providing startup funds to the participants who undergo agro-entrepreneurship training in CNR. 
The Department of Employment & Human Resources under the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources provided the funding for establishment Agro-entrepreneurship Business Incubation Centre as well as for the training of 1st group of agro-entrepreneurship training. 
The next training will be conducted in vegetable production, dairy production, and mushroom production from March 2018.
