Mass Cleaning Campaign at Metsina

CNR, Lobesa October 1, 2017:  Two clubs from College of Natural Resources (CNR), the Earth Guardian Bhutan (EGB), and  Y-Peer, CNR have conducted an advocacy program and mass cleaning campaign at Metsina in Punakha 0n September 28, 2017.  The clubs were supported by Environmental Officer of Punakha dzongkhag, a Gup and Tshogkpas of Barp Geowg and community people. The advocacy program started at 9 AM on waste management, emphasizing on managing waste, diseases related to waste and segregating waste from the source.
The wastes collected were transported in the municipal vehicle of Punakha Dzongkhag to a damping site. The EGB club extends their gratitude to the President of College of Natural Resource and management for their continuous support for the club. they also extend thankfulness to Y-Peer CNR for collaborating to make the program a grand success. Last but not the least, the club would immensely thank club chair Dr. Sonam Tashi and EGB members for their never-ending dedications for their contribution to the society.
