Post-plantation Management in the College

CNR, Lobesa June 11, 2017: The staff members of College of Natural Resources (CNR) had volunteered to take part in the post-plantation management and clearing the plantation sites in CNR Mega Farm Project Land. The area was highly invaded by Opuntia vulgaris. Taking care of the plantation is essential until they are well established. 
 
 
The activity was in continuation to the celebration of Social Forestry Day in the college. CNR in celebration of Social Forestry Day had planted a total of 732 saplings: 592 saplings in the Upper Hostel, 150 saplings in the arboretum and 40 bamboo rhizomes in the CNR Mega Farm Project Land.
